Sci-fi adventure directed by Virgil W. Vogel and starring Jock Mahoney and Shirley Patterson. When the United States Navy receives reports that a strange area of warm water exists in the otherwise frozen Antarctica they dispatch a team to investigate the phenomenon. Soon after the expedition begins, Commander Harold Roberts (Mahoney), reporter Margaret Hathaway (Patterson) and their companions are caught in a storm which brings down their helicopter. After surviving the crash they emerge to find themselves in a spectacular hidden valley home to beasts thought extinct for millennia.
